Oregon is the latest state to enact data privacy legislation—joining California, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia—with Governor Tina Kotek signing the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (“OCPA”) into law on July 18, 2023.
